Healing Through Plant Medicine & Inner Guidance with Wolf Purnananda | Cacao Conversations

In this episode of Cacao Conversations, we sit down with healer and spiritual guide Wolf Purnananda to explore the transformative power of plant medicine, from Ayahuasca and Kambo to Iboga.

Wolf shares how trusting inner guidance and embracing sacred practices can support deep personal and collective healing. We discuss the importance of integration after ceremonies, the role of the heart in spiritual transformation, and his vision for the Diamond Heart Project — a space to help people connect with their unique gifts.

From Fitness to Healing

Wolf began his career in sports medicine, working with athletes, celebrities, and the public. Despite outward success, he began receiving a recurring message in dreams, meditation, and daily life:

“You are supposed to heal from the natural remedies of the Earth.”

This calling led him to study natural medicine, work with Buddhist monks, yoga masters, shamans, and ultimately dedicate his life to sacred healing practices.

The Call of Plant Medicines

Wolf now works primarily with three powerful medicines: Kambo, Ayahuasca, and Iboga — each with its own healing properties and ceremonial traditions.

Kambo – The Frog Medicine

  • A secretion from an Amazonian frog, rich in bioactive peptides.

  • Detoxifies on physical, emotional, energetic, and mental levels.

  • Traditionally used by tribes for cleansing, boosting immunity, fertility, and overcoming illness.

  • Applied through small burns on the skin, entering the lymphatic system.

  • Known for clearing trauma, trapped emotions, and restoring balance between body systems.

“There’s nothing about you that’s broken. We’re not trying to fix — we’re clearing what’s trapped.”

Ayahuasca – The Grandmother Medicine

  • Brewed from the Ayahuasca vine and Chacruna leaf, containing DMT — the “God molecule.”

  • Facilitates profound spiritual insight, emotional healing, and energetic upgrades.

  • Tribes describe the plants as “singing” to each other in the forest, guiding their combination.

  • Helps participants connect to higher consciousness, life purpose, and unconditional love.

Iboga – The Grandfather Medicine

  • A root bark from Central Africa, known as the “root of all healing.”

  • Resets the brain’s limbic system in 36 hours.

  • Effective in treating addiction, trauma, and chronic illness.

  • Brings intense clarity and life direction through an immersive, extended journey.

Sacred Practices & The Diamond Heart Project

Wolf’s Diamond Heart Project helps people move from mental dominance to heart-centered living.

  • 16-week program guiding participants to design a personal sacred practice.

  • Anchors include meditation, breathwork, cacao ceremonies, and journaling.

  • Practices help integrate plant medicine experiences into everyday life for lasting transformation.

Integration – The Real Work Begins After Ceremony

Wolf offers four weeks of integration after every ceremony:

  • 1:1 calls and group sessions.

  • Tools for grounding insights into daily habits.

  • Support in navigating emotional shifts and life changes.

Without integration, the lessons and healing from plant medicine can fade. With it, they become part of your lived reality.

A Shift in Human Consciousness

Wolf believes humanity is in the middle of a dimensional shift — moving from third-dimensional awareness into a higher state of being.

Plant medicines are acting like the “railing” on a staircase, helping humanity take this next big step.

“Before our last breath, we will be in a different dimension than we were born into.”

Memorable Quotes from Wolf

“Your heart has more neurons than the brain.”

“There’s nothing about you that’s broken.”

“You are a work of art.”
